Our goal as a breeder is to produce top champion English Cream Golden Retrievers with beauty, health and exceptional temperament in mind. All our Goldens are family members, and as such do not sleep in a cold kennel, or any kennel at all for that matter. We live in the country on 20 acres of property for our Goldens to run, play and enjoy being a Golden. ALL of our Goldens live here on the ranch, where they can be closely monitored, cared for, loved and trained by me. Every Golden I have ever owned / bred and every Golden I ever will ever own and breed will live in my home, not some “foster” or “partner program” home where I would not have daily supervision over their care.
Goldens are at their best when they know they have a job to do, no matter what it may be. For some Goldens this means fetching the morning paper and putting a smile on their masters face. For other Goldens this means helping their master as a service dog to compensate for a disability. Our Goldens have a job as well. We train and practice daily to compete in agility, conformation, and performance obedience. We have a full agility course on site dedicated to furthering the skills, training and conditioning of our Goldens. I believe this will contribute to well rounded and conditioned Golden Retrievers who are capable of excelling in multiple venues and producing exceptional offspring. Our AKC registered breeding stock are all OFA certified and have all health and genetic testing performed as recommended by the AKC and the Golden Retriever Club of America to assure you will be getting as healthy puppy as possible. These tests and certifications that are performed on the parents include radiographs for hips and elbows to rule out displaysia, a cardiac specialist performs an auscultation to certify no heart defects are present and an ophthalmologist will rule out any eye defects. Once a Golden Retriever has completed and passed all recommended OFA tests, they will be issued a CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) number. Goldens who have passes all their health certifications will receive a CHIC number. This information is available to the public at www.offa.org.
Our puppies are introduced early on to a variety of sounds and textures that are commonly found around the home and also in unfamiliar territory as part of our socialization process to ensure a temperament that is in line with the Golden Retriever breed standard. We have a full puppy nursery inside our home so both mother and puppies are well cared for, pampered and loved. We handle, cuddle and play with our puppies many times a day to help ensure they are well socialized and have a gentle temperament. We also have a complete agility course on the grounds for training and just for fun. Not one of our Golden Retrievers will ever spend a night in a cold, impersonal kennel. Most of the time they take turns at the foot of our bed where they know they can sneak up while we are sleeping.

Goldens are almost limitless on what they can learn. They are one of the most intelligent breeds of dog and their desire to please will make training very easy. One thing to keep in mind when training, if your Golden is having trouble with a particular command, chances are it is not an issue with the Golden, but the trainer may need some training or guidance himself. Once your Golden knows what you want, he will do it! You just have to be able to tell him in a way that he will understand, don’t make it confusing, keep it simple and fun!
The Golden Retriever disposition is kind, gentle, loving, faithful, unselfish, capable, intelligent with a strong desire to please. The Golden Retriever displays an innate love for children not seen in most breeds. The devotion of a golden to his family is astonishing. They are one of the most sought after breeds because of their hallmark temperament. Once you let a Golden Retriever into your life you will quickly learn that he has found a special place in your heart that will only continue to grow.
The Golden Retriever was originally bred as a hunting dog in England in the late 1800’s to retrieve water fowl. The relationship between the Golden Retriever and his master on a hunt is so symbiotic, the Golden seems to be able to predict what his master is thinking even before he gives a command. This amazingly strong and unbreakable bond that has been bred into the breed for hundreds of years is what also makes the Golden Retriever so popular as a companion dog. Their ability to sense what you are feeling and thinking is uncanny. The Golden Retrievers greatest joy is knowing they have done something to please their master. There is nothing like the tail thumping excitement when they are awaiting your command to “get-it” as you throw a ball or toy for them to retrieve for you. A Goldens love is unconditional, unquestioning and always forgiving. In my opinion, if mankind could behave as Goldens do, this world would be a much better place.
As part of our puppy socialization process, our puppies are exposed to early neurological stimulation which is a series of physical manipulations starting at three days old and continuing up until the 16th day after birth. After the early neurological stimulation puppies will be socialized by exposing them to a variety of sounds and textures that are commonly found around the home and also in unfamiliar territory. This is to ensure a well balanced and gentle temperament that is in line with the Golden Retriever breed standard. Most researchers agree that a lack of adequate socialization generally results in unacceptable behavior, and often times produces undesirable aggression, excessive and fearfulness. We have a full puppy nursery inside our home so both mother and puppies are well cared for, pampered and loved. My goal is to help you find the perfect puppy to become part of your family.
